Caroline Kennedy Supports Full Marriage Equality and We Support Caroline Kennedy
Caroline Kennedy is educated, smart, caring, dedicated, hard-working, respected, not polarizing, articulate, traveled, well-known, and she can raise money and get votes. In fact, with the position that she has on most issues - she’d get our votes. We totally support her as the next Senator from New York.
The New York Times has published a series of questions and answers by Caroline Kennedy regarding her positions on several issues. One of the most important for us, “Caroline supports full equality and marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples,” wrote spokesman Stefan Friedman. Asked if Ms. Kennedy had written the answers herself, her spokesman, Stefan Friedman, said: “These are Caroline’s positions. The responses were drafted by her and her staff.”
Here is the exact question and Ms. Kennedy’s answer.
Q. Does she support state or federal legislation that would legalize same-sex marriage?
A. Caroline supports full equality and marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples.

Sarah Palin’s family is so colorful. Her daughter Bristol is ready to have Levi Johnston’s baby at any moment. Sherry Johnston, the paternal grandmother has been arrested on 6 felony counts related to oxycontin and the baby’s Aunt Mercede (aka “Sadie”) is looking hot on MySpace posing as sexy Mrs. Clause with a sexy nun and a sexy American flag.
But isn’t Mercede (Levi’s sister) a doll as Mrs. Claus? Not sure what to make of the nun and the American flag.

Evangelicals Eat One of Their Own Over Marriage Equality
Yesterday Richard Cizik resigned from the National Association of Evangelicals after remarks he made on a 12/8/2008 broadcast of NPR’s Fresh Air in support of same gender civil unions. Yet, Cizik also signed off on the “No Mob Veto” ad in the NYT that seemed to support Proposition 8. Listen to the interview and see the ad.

Florida Seeks Charlie Crist Adoption Ban
Where to start on a story like this? The State of Florida wants to make sure it’s illegal for the state’s govenor to adopt children? What?
Remember when Charlie “Toasted But Not Burned” Crist announced he was engaged to a . . . woman? Of course, us silly nillies thought he was just doing that to divert attention from the fact that he’s - gay - so that John McCain would pick him instead of cute, bubbly Sarah Palin.
Well, the wedding is on for December 12 in St. Petersburg. And now there’s more anti-homo news from the state that Charlie governs oh so well. Now how is Charlie ever going to hear the little pidder padder of footsteps around his house if he can’t adopt children?

Proposition 8 pushed that funny little Wanda Sykes into finally making a public statement about her sexuality.
“Now, I gotta get in their face,” she said. “I’m proud to be a woman. I’m proud to be a black woman, and I’m proud to be gay.”
Lesbian Moms’ To-Do: Little Man’s Basketball, Protest, Suzie’s Birthday Party & Sleepover at Ryan’s
The life of lesbian mothers is interesting to say the least. We’re taking Little Man to his basketball games, attending PTA meetings, and all the usual.
Friday: PTA meeting, circle pickup, play date with Billy, basketball practice, family birthday party at Catholic Church Social Hall
Saturday: basketball game at the Y, join Proposition 8 nation wide protest, birthday party for Suzie at Bounce U, drop off for sleepover, catch up on work, update Two Lesbos blog . . . And “no” we aren’t making this up. This is our real up to the moment “to-do” that we did.
