Lesbians Make Soap Opera History and For Sappy Holiday Videos
Talk about changing hearts and minds. My gandmothers LOVED daytime soaps. Of course, they are long gone but I can easily see how it would have been. Shopping trip done . . . Mamow announces it’s time to get home to “watch my shows” and see if Reese ever proposes to Bianca.
Reese Williams and Bianca Montgomery are fictional characters from the ABC daytime drama All My Children. Reese is portrayed by Tamara Braun, and Bianca is portrayed by Eden Riegel. The couple is groundbreaking for featuring the first same-sex marriage proposal on an American soap opera. In addition, the pairing’s family is the first onscreen family made up of same-sex parents in the history of American daytime television.

Portia de Rossi is looking quite dapper in her “I Love My Wife” shirt - accessorized with her celesbian wife, Ellen DeGeneres, on her arm.
Melissa Etheridge Meets Rick Warren - Hollywood Farm Girl
The spouse of Melissa Etheridge gives us another side of the Rick Warren issue. Apparently Melissa Etheridge met Warren and the lovely spouse of Melissa gives us a few thoughts to ponder.
Tammy Lynn Michaels (born Tammy Lynn Doring), is also known by the surname Etheridge after marrying Melissa Etheridge in 2003. The couple had twins in 2006. You may remember Tammy as a regular cast member on the Warner Brothers Network television show Popular and she has guest-starred on the Showtime drama The L Word and a number of other shoes. Here is part of what Tammy Lynn says on her blog “hollywood farm girl”:
“rick is not a televangelist. rick is not falwell. rick spoke of some “stupid” things he’s said (his word, not mine), some missquotes that were given, and lots of ammunition from the media. all excellent points. (we’re all war-minded right now, you know. it’s easy for the media to distract us by throwing us into our own verbal wars here at home.) ) what to do, what to do…. the rest of the public is given an animation of rick warren… and then my wife meets the man behind the projections, the quotes, the “OTHER SIDE”. and he is warm, caring, effusive, and LOVES gays. since he nearly swallowed honey when he hugged her, i tend to believe him. he wants our gay marriages to be just as respected and embraced as the straight marriages. he just wants to wear his yamaka, and me wear my hat.”
Meet a Couple Fighting Against Marriage Equality
Even though we live in a geographical / political area of the US where marriage equality is a long way from passing, we don’t seem to ever meet those people who are against us. Little Man has been in school for several years, we attend PTA, soccer games, parties . . . nothing. Simply, we either don’t meet them or they don’t have the guts to even hint that they are secretly protecting marriage from our kind.
Well, the Los Angeles Times now gives us a chance to meet a couple fighting against marriage equality. While we often have a snide word or two about issues, we’re just going to leave it at that and give our readers a chance to meet a couple who fasted for 40 days to make sure that families like mine were given second-class status.
Abel Ferreira and his wife, Robbie, never considered themselves political activists.
But when Proposition 8 landed on November’s ballot, the Spring Valley couple did everything they could to ensure that the constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage got passed. They made phone calls. They attended prayer rallies. They fasted for 40 days.

Caroline Kennedy Supports Full Marriage Equality and We Support Caroline Kennedy
Caroline Kennedy is educated, smart, caring, dedicated, hard-working, respected, not polarizing, articulate, traveled, well-known, and she can raise money and get votes. In fact, with the position that she has on most issues - she’d get our votes. We totally support her as the next Senator from New York.
The New York Times has published a series of questions and answers by Caroline Kennedy regarding her positions on several issues. One of the most important for us, “Caroline supports full equality and marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples,” wrote spokesman Stefan Friedman. Asked if Ms. Kennedy had written the answers herself, her spokesman, Stefan Friedman, said: “These are Caroline’s positions. The responses were drafted by her and her staff.”
Here is the exact question and Ms. Kennedy’s answer.
Q. Does she support state or federal legislation that would legalize same-sex marriage?
A. Caroline supports full equality and marriage rights for gay and lesbian couples.

The Lesbian, The Black Chick & The Republican Girl - The Video
Have you heard the one about the lesbian, the black chick and the Republican girl? Yeah, they were all sitting on a sofa with television camers and microphones hovering nearby one holiday season.
The Republican chick says, “the election was bittersweet for you.” The lesbian says, “I’m a lesbian” and the black chick just smiles her big ol’ booty off.

Call in Gay Tomorrow
We usually don’t bother to call in sick since none of us really work from a true office. We mainly work from home so it would be really weird for us to “call in” to say that we weren’t planning on working. So, will we “call in” gay?
If any of us here at Two Lesbos Goin At It had a job where you actually report to work - we would call in gay . . . really gay . . . so gay that we’d probably call 911 first and ask for a ride to the hospital so we can have our gayness properly examined.
