Having been through many many raging lesbian girl on girl cage match fights with Lovely Spouse, we try to hang back on stories about tiffs between Lindsay and Samantha. On the other hand, the recent news of the New Year’s celebration knock down, drag out, punchfest is a little much to ignore. Have they split? If so, it sucks. And what about the Courtney Cox Arquette story? Does she really have a thing for Sam?

Girls, you have to decide on some boundaries and your relationship has to move out of the bar scene. Maybe Sam could find some nice 9-5 DJing job at a radio station. Just a suggestion . . .

Lindsay and Sam Go Panty / Bra Shopping - Watch the Video

Okay, this video is . . . it’s funny. While Lindsay Lohan shops for bras and panties Samantha Ronson does whatever we all do when the little lady is shopping for bras and panties. Eventually, as shown by the still photos, Samantha pays and all is well. Plus, the lingerie is surprisingly tasteful. The funny part? Listen to the kid who comes up to the stalkarazzi wanting to know what all the fuss is about.

Is that her brother?

Lindsay Lohan was seen at Tracey Ross is West Hollywood, shopping for bra and panties. Samantha Ronson was also there. After Samantha paid for the unmentionables, Lindsay gave Sam a little lip licking smile of appreciation. I’m actually a bit disappointed in the underwear choice. In my dreams, Lindsay’s panties were a bit skimpier and sheerer than these. Oh well, the magic of Hollywood I guess!

The Ellen Degeneres Show is so cute. Heck, Ellen is so cute. So what happened here? Ellen watches a pie eating contest and then launches into her love for eating all things “p.” Watch the video.

PS - Ellen will ”take on all comers.”

She says,

“I love pie and pasta and pizza. I love any food that starts with a “P” …except, ironically, peas. I love eating contests; Hot Dog, Pie, banana splits… They never have healthy eating contests like a salad eating contest or a tofu eating contest. No one would enter. Especially me. I don’t like vegetables. I don’t hate them, but I avoid them. They are always the last thing on my plate and sometimes they accidentally end up in the garbage disposal. If vegetables are so delicious then why are most of them covered in cheese or marshmallows?

They try to trick you, like those fake nose and glasses or a toupee. “I know those are carrots and I know you’re bald!” It’s the same reason medicine is flavored. If medicine didn’t taste like cherries, we’d all have the croup. I have to drink a vitamin supplement, because I don’t eat vegetables. It’s called, “Greens Plus.” It’s a green powder that is mixed with juice or water - but I don’t eat juice or water so I just spoon the powder in my mouth. I tell you it’s the only way to eat. It’s like a healthy Pixie Stix. If there’s ever a healthy Pixie Stix eating contest, I’ll take on all comers.”

Bristol Palin, 18, gave birth to Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston on Saturday, People magazine reported online. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Colleen Jones, the sister of Bristol’s grandmother, told the magazine that “the baby is fine and Bristol is doing well.”

The governor’s office said it would not release information because it considers the baby’s birth a private, family matter. Palin family members, hospital employees and spokespeople for the governor’s former running mate, John McCain, either would not confirm the birth or did not return messages from The Associated Press.

Lindsay Lohan Beats the Pope

Lindsay’s MySpace Christmas Eve message is much more inspiring than the Pope’s. In fact, it’s all Lindsay’s words. We don’t even need her photo thanks to what she is spreading on her MySpace page.

That’s why Lindsay beat the Pope when we were deciding what message to post before we head out for our family’s Christmas Eve dinner.

Linday’s message is from someone who has lived life. In that bowl full of Cherry’s thing - she has done enough live, live, live for most lifetimes. Now, looking back, she notes that she’s made a mistake or two and hopes others can learn from those.

The Pope has never lived. He is an old man who has never been married and has never known the pure joy from raising children. Yet, this bitter old loser in prissy red shoes - living in his tower of gold - thinks he has advice for the rest of us.

random thoughts

i think that people go through a lot in life. and the things that we go through, whatever they may be, simply just make us stronger in the long run… that is, if we actually take what it is we have learned from our mistakes and teach ourselves what NOT to do in the future. i have gone through a lot in my past, and to be completely honest, i am still going through a lot right now.. my father just let my family and i know, amongst others that he had another child after my little sister Aliana, or maybe he had it before Aliana?? either way, he cheated on my mother and that really sucks… MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! wow- do i sound like “debbie downer” or what? not trying to be… but back to the real reason for this blog-i feel like Britney Spears is an amazing talent, and she has gone through a lot, (just as i have) in the public eye.. which is not necessarily a bad thing.. It teaches young girls and boys that there are certain things in life that you should not let get in the way of your dreams and accomplishments. also that you need to take care of yourself before anyone else, and i mean anyone and everyone else. because at the end of the day, you have to look at yourself in the mirror and see who you really are. stripped of all the distractions in life. so YAY Britney for just being you and still following through with your dreams. i know i am a bit late in writing about this record since it came out already, but better late than never!!!!

I love my mom, aliana, cody, michael, and my nana sullivan!! i will be missing them this christmas as it is the first one i am spending away from home. i am spending it with Samantha in Los Angeles.

Rachael Maddow on Christophobia and Rick Warren

We have the video of Rachel Maddow’s show and tell / comments on Rick Warren and his diagnosis of Christophobia for us homos. Just for fun, we also threw in a Christmas Eve snow photo of Rachel and her girlfriend Susan.

MADDOW: Coming up: Pastor Rick Warren is still apparently giving the invocation at Barack Obama‘s inauguration. But it looks like the uproar that invitation has invoked may have had some effect on the purpose-driven pastor already. For example, he no longer admits on his church‘s Web site that he won‘t let gay people join his church. Could Pastor Warren be feeling more accepting of the gay than he was last week? Is it a miracle?

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

First, though, it‘s time for a few underreported holy mackerel stories in today‘s news. On Friday, you may remember us giving a little hat tip to the John Aravosis “Proprietor of America” blog. John pointed out that in the fine print at Rick Warren‘s Saddleback Church Web site, he found this very clear statement that maybe ought to have given the Obama folks pause before they invite Pastor Warren to give the invocation at Barack Obama‘s inaugural. John found this quote, “Because membership in a church is an outgrowth of accepting the lordship and leadership of Jesus in one‘s life, someone unwilling to repent of their homosexual lifestyle would not be accepted as a member of Saddleback Church.” Ouch.

That means, of course, that Barack asked the spiritual clarion call at his swearing in would be delivered by a man who will not allow gay people to attend their church if they‘re unrepentant. He‘s also a man who says gay relationships are equivalent to child molestation and incest.

Now, since Friday, Mr. Aravosis has noted that Rick warren pulled that anti-gay language from his church Web site. So, does that mean you can now be unrepentantly gay and be a member of Rick Warren‘s church or does it just mean that Rick Warren is embarrassed to have had his policy about that out on the Internet machine for everyone to see?

Now, Joe Biden has defended the Obama selection of Rick Warren for the inaugural. He defended him yesterday on ABC saying Obama reached out to Warren in order to heal the wounds of this country and move this country forward.

Thank you for the clarification, Sen. Biden. My wounds feel better already.

Video Double Shot of Love - Why Are We Watching This?

A Double Shot at Love - MTV Shows

MTV launched exclusive videos detailing the highlights of the second episode of A Double Shot at Love, as well as behind-the-scenes clips of the show. Surprise after surprise came crashing on the reality dating series, when last episode featured the Ikki twins’ “big reveal.” Despite the excitement, drama kept flowing in and out of the house immediately. Rebekah and Xoe were pulled aside, because of accusations by Nick.

Apparently, the Ikki twins were informed that Xoe and Rebekah were “touching Josh all night long” even though they were lesbians. It was probably a false claim on Nick’s part, and even Xoe said that she was only being nice to Josh and Nick “took it the wrong way.”

Above, the clip shows the whole business with Rebekah and Xoe vs. Nick. There’s also the great betrayal, in which Rosemarie kisses Josh while they were on the bed.

Why am I watch this? Why?

Talk about changing hearts and minds. My gandmothers LOVED daytime soaps. Of course, they are long gone but I can easily see how it would have been. Shopping trip done . . . Mamow announces it’s time to get home to “watch my shows” and see if Reese ever proposes to Bianca.

Reese Williams and Bianca Montgomery are fictional characters from the ABC daytime drama All My Children. Reese is portrayed by Tamara Braun, and Bianca is portrayed by Eden Riegel. The couple is groundbreaking for featuring the first same-sex marriage proposal on an American soap opera. In addition, the pairing’s family is the first onscreen family made up of same-sex parents in the history of American daytime television.

Victory for Childen of Same-Sex Parents

In a major victory for the childen of same-sex parents nationwide, a U.S. District Court judge in Louisiana has ordered the state registrar to honor the New York adoption of a baby boy by a same-sex couple, saying her continued failure to do so violated the U.S. Constitution.

Lambda Legal represented Oren Adar and Mickey Smith, a gay couple who adopted their Louisiana-born son in 2006 in a New York court, where a judge issued an adoption decree. When Smith attempted get a new birth certificate for their child, in part so he could add his son to his health insurance, the office of State Registrar Darlene Smith told him that Louisiana does not recognize adoption by unmarried parents and so could not issue it.
